ABOUT ME

I am an advocate running an individual law firm with the main focus area on commercial and investment Real Estate market.

EXPERIENCE

I have over 10 years of experience in real state law, working in international law firms in leading Real Estate practices, including Dentons and Allen & Overy and following that, 4 years of experience running my own law firm. 

HOW I WORK

After many years of experience running commercial transactions, I always try to focus on real problems and try to find solutions which are reasonable, properly secure my client and satisfy all parties involved. I am oriented in working towards achieving the end result and not in prolonging the process to prove a point.

Depending on time and demand, I can often accomodate fast pace projects and offer my clients a priority approach.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS

• advising on sale and acquisition transactions, including logistics, office, multi-housing and retail sectors
• advising clients in forward funding and forward purchse transactions
• advising clients in joint venture projects

My transaction experience contains advising in, among others: acquisition of Warsaw Financial Centre (deal value approx EUR 210 mln), Eurocentrum Building complex (deal value approx EUR 105 mln), shares in co-ownership of Oxford Tower Building, Ideal Idea IV Park in Warsaw, 7R Park Tczew, 7R Park Wrocław, Charter Hall retail portfolio (deal value approx EUR 174,5 mln), Atrium 1 (deal value approx EUR 94 mln), Racławicka Point, Browar Lubicz premises in Cracow,  sale of Europolis logistics portfolio, Segro Logistic Park Gdańsk, sale of Lipowy Office Park (part), acquisition of Zgoda 1 building in Warsaw.

DRAFTING AND NEGOTIATIONG AGREEMENTS 

• drafting and negotiating development management and general construction agreements
• drafting and negotiating commercial lease agreements, including built to suit leases and projects
• drafting and negotiating property management, leasing management agreements

OTHER SERVICES 

• providing asset management services
• advising developers in relation to multi-housing investment projects, including developer agreements, internal regulations, quoad usum agreements
• providing basic corporate advice and registration assistance
• advising in taking out title insurance and R&W insurance

PRO BONO ACTIVITIES

In my view, lawyers have a social privilege and responsibilioty to hold this profession and it is very important that we also remain true to the values of that profession. That is why for many years I am engaged in pro-bono work projects (i.a. for which I received a distinction in Pro Bono Lawyer 2020 awards (main pro bono awards in Poland) as well as developing and leading internal LGBT+ network for EU region at major law firm, enhancing equality and safe space at work for the community working there. I am a member of the Consultancy Board at the Law Does Not Exclude Fund, together with such prominent personalities as the former Civil Rights Protection Officer (RPO) and former Constitutional Tribunal judge. I co-created the first in Poland LGBT+ group at the Warsaw bar association.
